We are constantly studying new products that can guarantee the user not only the best performance/cost ratio but also but also the best ratio in terms of efficiency and versatility. Our work does not only consist of conceiving new products in terms of structure, design or function - that correspond to the requirements of our customers. A large part of our work is aimed at improving and rationalising existing products. Our contribution in this field is aimed at optimising, through the introduction of plastic materials, the performance of a component and at achieving significant advantages for our customer in terms of cost reduction or production flexibility.
We support the customer right from the initial phases of the project, both in the selection of the most suitable raw materials and in choosing the most appropriate transformation and finishing technologies.
Lampia also works actively together with major Italian universities and research centres from the patent phase up to the industrialisation of new products.

The MICROPLATES SEALING CAP PROJECT

The Microplates Sealing Cap Project is carried out in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Biotechnology and Industrial Applications Studies Centre of Milan University (Università degli Studi di Milano).   Lampia is the promoter of this study that originates from the interpretation of a precise requirement, on the part of the market, where applications dedicated to biotechnologies are needed. Lampia has participated actively in the following three phases of the project: • Preliminary feasibility analysis • Start-up of prototype phase • Initial experimentation up to patenting (currently underway)
